My Soul Mate

 

Constrict me not, Oh, earthly domain!

I seek adventures beyond mortal spheres.

To enter the gardens of wisdom,

my vision must become crystal clear.

 

The fetters which shackle my soul must be

shattered and burned by Love’s sacred fire

so the hopes and dreams which dwell within

can be awakened with passion and desire.

 

I have been a stranger to myself far too long.

Haunted by yearnings invisible to human sight.

When I am lonely the stars shine upon me,

soothing my fear of the shadowy night.

 

I feel like a wayfarer on this earth

but still I believe in the magic of Fate.
